FAQ
Are your yoga mats made of non-toxic materials?
Our yoga mats are made from high-quality, non-toxic materials and meet all required safety standards. The rubber bottom of our mats is skin-safe and free from harmful chemicals.
We are proud to confirm that our products comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and other relevant EU safety standards. This means our yoga mats undergo thorough quality control and testing to guarantee they meet the highest safety and performance expectations.
We use OEKO-TEX® certified sublimation inks, which means they have been tested and verified to meet strict safety and environmental standards.
- No harmful chemicals: The ink is free from toxic substances like heavy metals, formaldehyde, pesticides, and other dangerous compounds.
- Safe for skin contact: It’s gentle and non-irritating, making it safe even for sensitive skin.
- Eco-friendly production: The ink is produced in a way that minimizes environmental impact, following responsible manufacturing practices.
- High-quality standards: OEKO-TEX® certification ensures the product has been thoroughly tested and meets international safety standards.
How do I clean my yoga mat?
To eliminate unpleasant odors, fill a spray bottle with water and add a few drops of essential oil like tea tree. Spray the mat and dry it with a towel.
Gently wipe a dirty or stained mat with a dry towel. For deeper cleaning, use a towel soaked in mild soap and water and clean the mat thoroughly. Then, let the mat air dry or use a dry towel.
What sort of packaging does the mat come in?
Each mat is carefully shipped in a recyclable box.
How long does shipping take?
Our mats are made to order, so we take a little extra time to craft them with care. Production typically takes between two and five days. Shipping transit times vary based on your location and shipping method. For more details on delivery times, please visit our shipping policy page.
Can I cancel or change my order?
You may request a cancellation or change to your order only before it has been processed. To ensure we can assist you, please reach out as soon as possible after placing your order. We recommend contacting us within 1-3 hours of purchase for the best chance of making changes. If the order has already been processed by our warehouse, we will be unable to accommodate any modifications, and you’ll need to follow our return/exchange policy for any adjustments. Please make sure to provide accurate information during checkout, as customers are responsible for any additional fees related to re-shipping or address changes.
Do you offer personalized yoga mats?
If you’d like to personalize your yoga mat, you can visit our Etsy shop for customizable options.
Does the mat have a smell when it arrives?
Your yoga mat may have a light rubber scent when it first arrives. This typically fades after a few uses. To help the smell dissipate faster, we recommend laying the mat flat in a shaded, well-ventilated area after unpacking.
Will I be charged VAT or import fees, such as customs?
We are registered under Norway's VOEC (VAT on E-Commerce) scheme for low-value goods. This means that VAT will be calculated and added at checkout for eligible EU orders. This helps avoid additional import fees or customs charges when your package arrives.
For international orders outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, or other fees may apply, based on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices or shipping costs. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information.
*Customs, duty, and international taxes are non-refundable. If you refuse a shipment because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping, any brokerage/customs/duty/taxes, and any return shipping charges will not be refunded.
